Joyce Abel Bryan OBITUARY
Joyce Abel Bryan, 59, of Cochranville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, at her residence.
Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Palmer and Jessie Gamble Abel.
Joyce was a Licensed Practical Nurse.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed writing poems and archeology.
Joyce is survived by two brothers, Edward Abel and his wife Barbara of Embreeville, and John Abel and his wife Donna of West Grove; two sisters, Margaret Mowrer of West Grove, and Dorothy Roop and her husband Dewey of Cochranville.
She was predeceased by her son, Samuel Bryan.
Her memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6, at the Kennett Square Missionary Baptist Church, 408 Bayard Road, Kennett Square. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to Heartland Hospice, 5 Christy Drive, Suite 103 (Chadds Ford Campus), Chadds Ford, PA 19317.
